Local authors Rosie Dempsey (McKinley Armstrong’s neighbor) and John Feeley, Jr., have written a picture history of the community that gave us Jack Sullivan, Monk Malloy, Tom Little, Michael Bossard, Tom Sluby, John Battle, and a host of other basketball players.

The authors will guest on Washington’s WAMU radio today at 1 p.m., Saturday at 7 a.m., and the interview segment will then be available online. They have a book event at St. Anthony’s on Oct. 9.
