From N.Y. Daily News report:
OKLAHOMA CITY – Kevin Durant is slowly but surely evolving into a world-class player along the lines of guys named Kobe LeBron Wade and Carmelo. He’s that’s good. And he’s only 21.
Durant made believers out of the Knicks Monday night…
“He’s easily one of the top five players in the league,” Jared Jeffries said after Durant continued his breakthrough season by scoring 20 of his 30 points in the first half to lead the Thunder to a 106-88 rout. “He’s pretty tough.”
The 6-foot-9 Durant, the league’s fourth-leading scorer, shot 8-for-14 and added five rebounds and three assists in 33 minutes. He also has the superstar ability to draw fouls and make free throws. He attempted 16 foul shots, including 12 in the first half as Oklahoma City was building a 63-47 lead…
Northwestern H.S. product Jeff Green contributed nine points, three steals and seven rebounds for the winners.
