Alexandria’s Earl Lloyd is Hot

From the BlackFives blog, regarding Mr. Lloyd, who, on Halloween Night, 1950, at the old Uline Arena on 3rd and M Streets, N.E. (where the Beatles made their U.S. debut 14 years later- it was then called The Washington Coliseum), became the first Black man to play in an NBA game:

Mr. Lloyd attended the old Parker-Gray High here in Alexandria. He was a high riser- his CIAA nickname was “Moon Fixer”.
