Locals Play in Play-In Game

Mount Saint Mary’s downed Coppin State 69-60 for the right to play in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament. For the victors, guard Chris Vann is from Woodbridge, Va., guard Jean Cajou hails from Fairfax, center Tayvon Jackson is from Indian Head, Md. (Prince George’s County). Cajou scored eight, Vann 13. For Coppin, forward Antwan Harrison is a Beltsville, Md. kid, guard Mike Miller’s from here in Lanham, forward Brian Chestnut calls Clinton, Md. home. All three are Prince George’s County products- Clinton is the hometown of North Carolina point guard Ty Lawson. Harrison contributed 14 points, Miller 11.
