Where D.C. Basketball Can Lead One

One never knows what their life after scholastic basketball in D.C. will bring. Al Gore became Vice President of the United States, and part of a group that won the Noble Peace Prize. He alsio narrated a documentary which won an Academy Award. Dr. Charles Drew was a pioneer in the development of blood banks, and blood preservation and transfusion. Maury Povich has worked as a television host, either here locally (remember “Panorama”), in New York City, or nationally, for 41 years. Donald Dell founded ProServ, one of the first sports management firms. Collis Jones was longtime head of the National Newspapers Publishers Association.
