The Adair Twins: Double Trouble at G-Dub

How many major college basketball programs feature twin teammates? George Washington University boasts the Adair twins from Anacostia High- Jessica and Jazmine. The 6’4″ Jessica’s averaging 15.7 points a game to lead the Lady Colonials, while 6’3″ Jazmime averages six- in 17 minutes per game. Jessica was the first player at Anacostia to score 1,000 points.

Their homegirl Antelia Parrish, a product of Bishop McNamara High, is contributing 11.7 ppg. for the LC’s. Parrish was a juco All-American at Prince George’s Community College in Largo, Md.- where she averaged 25.7 points, 5.1 steals, and 15.4 rebounds a game in 2006 (and shot nearly 54% from the floor). No wonder the Lady Colonials are 16-4, with a 10-1 record at their home Smith Center. The AP has them ranked # 17 in Divison 1.
