Villanova stopped UConn’s 10-game win string, 67-65, led by 18 points from Scottie Reynolds of Herndon High. Scottie canned four of his eight three-point efforts. George Mason’s men fell to Ohio U. 69-75, but Springbrook’s Folarin Campbell led the Patriots with 18 points, had seven rebounds, five “dimes”, and sank three from long distance. The Lady Pats fell to Northeastern 65-56, losers paced by 10 points from Rashauna Hobbs of Riverdale Baptist. Hobb’s dad Karl is men’s coach at GWU.
